A Review of the Compressive Strength Predictor Variables of Geopolymer Concrete

Having a prediction model for the geopolymer concrete (GPC) compressive strength gives Engineers an edge in project quality and cost control. Compressive of is dependent on various components that formed concrete, curing regime. This paper outcome review variables (components relationships) influence (GPC). The identified from literature are; Concentration (Molarity) Hydroxide solution, Alkaline Liquid/Geopolymer Solids (Liquid/Binder) ratio, Sodium silicate to hydroxide ratio (SS/SH), time, temperature, Water/Geopolymer age, fineness binder (pozzolan), rest period, admixtures aggregates. A careful examination each variable revealed concentration, SS/SH, Solid are major determinants GPC strength.
